Life at Fletcher
So the Fall semester is now in full swing and my blogging skills are once again slacking. I finished up the summer with a two week vacation in Germany and France and then moved up to Boston the day after I arrived back stateside. Two days later I started classes at The Fletcher School for an MIB pre-session class on Strategic Management. The two-week intensive course allowed for real bonding between the MIB cohort of 32 and made attending orientation a whole lot less awkward to say the least. I’ve now finalized my schedule and secured a part-time job in the Office of Admissions and am now trying to balance coursework with all of the amazing events and speakers coming to Fletcher weekly. There is always so much to do, and see, and listen to! It gets a little crazy. The whole experience has been pretty amazing so far and my peers have the most interesting backgrounds and so many unique experiences. In other exciting news, Ambassador Pickering will be speaking at Fletcher next week as part of the Fares Center’s conference on The New Middle East: Challenges and Opportunities.
